We specialize in custom wall treatments including; lime based plasters such as Marmorino carrara, marmorino classic, tadelakt, intonachino, velvet marmorino,Veneciano, venetian plaster & Tuscany. other custom wall treatments include Gold leafing, Glazing, Metallic Silk Stone and other unique decorative techniques. Many of the techniques used are proprietary to Decorative Painting & Plastering Concepts Inc., ensuring your project is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Our founder, Darrell Morrison, started as a journeyman apprentice with some of the finest interior and exterior decorative artisans and painters in the Phoenix, Arizona area. His design skills and ability to take articulated visions of his customers to implementation put him in high demand. He soon branched out on his own and continued to study and expand his techniques, creating his own unique surfaces and designs.
Darrell was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He started his 1st business at the age of 14 which involved selling and manufacturing skate boards. Always having the thirst for knowledge and entrepreneur mentality Darrell easily picked up a book, trial and errored and eventually taught himself the basics of Architectural wall finishing. After a few years of experimenting and learning he attended Aaron Cohen's Architectural wall finishing course at SAFS to further enhance his knowledge and abilities. Darrell brought his talents home to Canada to the British Columbia area in 2005. Darrell and his wife, Janelle, and their faithful pups are proud to call the Vancouver area “home”.
